Lib Dem’s Horrifying Planning Hopes Revealed


Stalingrad housing and a poll tax on wheels are part of a triple whammy of unwanted policies proposed by a senior Lib Dem less than a week before election time.

The News has the news of Lib Dem City Councillor Alan Baker’s call for more ‘garden grabbing’ and high rise developments in the city as well as congestion charging for traffic.

Cllr Baker is retiring as the head of the planning committee – and not too soon. Of course, it was the Lib Dems who approved the notoriously ugly Leisure Centre, deeming it suitable and in character for an historic university city...
